About Regina

First and foremost, just like you I’m a dynamic, multi-faceted individual who wears many hats. I’m a mom, wife, coach, writer, researcher, runner, & adventurer with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I’ve lived on the West coast, Mid-west, and in Europe, providing me an irreplaceable understanding of the importance and power of culture.

I also happen to believe in a world in which the vast majority of people view coaching as a way of life, and engage in it regularly in order to invest in the growth of themselves and others.

This is the vision. Here’s some of the story and the practice toward it:

After 7 years of using and demonstrating the impact of evidence-based coaching on the career and leadership of hundreds of college students, what had the most profound impact on me and my life was gaining deep understanding of my personality through MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), and, in Simon Sinek’s terms, defining my Why.  This coupled with foundational knowledge of my strengths and values gave me a sense of clarity, empowerment, and grounded intention to live in alignment with my purpose.  In actuality, it was the ripple effect of habit change similar to James Clear’s concept of the compound impact of habits that led to a true life shift.

Clarity of identity, purpose, and new habits didn’t just help me reach the next level, it provided insight and vision that truly transformed my life in ways that couldn’t be undone. I went from feeling completely overpowered by external relationships and influences, drowning in information overload, and spending years desiring to help others while I myself was depleted. After engaging in the type of inner work, coaching, programs, connection, and activities I was most drawn to, I finally began to feel grounded in who I was and, after defining my personal Why, things became clear, decisions became easier, I felt aligned and unstoppable for the first time in my ENFP life.

All of this inspired me to become MBTI certified and a Certified Life Coach and shift to Identity and Purpose Life Coaching in order to equip others with their inner superpower. Learning to uncover and address any potential blocks, limiting beliefs, negative habits, or challenges is a critical part of the process. This opens up channels toward self-mastery and discovering your inner potential. Understanding the interaction between your personality, strengths, values, skills, and interests can enlighten you to define your purpose (this exists within each of us), live in alignment with who you truly are, and be empowered to pursue your dreams.

My coaching approach is client & strengths-centered, using both ICF-accredited and Co-Active Coaching techniques grounded in research as well as the use of an award winning neuropsych-based model. My mission is to empower one person at a time to discover their inner guidance by uncovering barriers to access and engage in self-guided coaching, coaching others, and being coached regularly. I believe consistent, meaningful connection with yourself and others through coaching is the key to fulfillment and, frankly, a healthier & happier world.

Education and Training

My innate curiosity about what drives people led me to become a Research Psychologist, Certified Life Coach, and MBTI Certified Practitioner. As a Researcher and Career & Leadership Coach at Ohio University, I contributed as co-author, trainer, and coach of the award-winning, neuropsych-based coaching model coined Brain-Based Career Development. I continue to update and refine my coaching practices, drawing on a variety of evidence-based approaches.
