Welcome to what I hope is your first dose of inspiration…
Do you ever have moments of realization that you’re off-course? That you’re either on the wrong path entirely and heading in the wrong direction. Or, are you just way over-committed but know deep down you need to re-evaluate things?
That was me, nearly every day, for so many years.
Beginning in graduate school, I was spread so thin I had little time to breath let alone reflect on what I truly wanted in life.
Or at least that’s what I believed.
Operating at a ridiculous level of intensity aka having too much on my plate, became a habit. This habit turned into years of filling my life with work, events, social media, massive information overload, and just stuff, without a strong concept of WHY. What was it all for?? I had no solid sense of self, purpose or direction.
Sound familiar?
Without a clear picture of myself and my future, not surprisingly, external forces took over.
I became a reflection of my environment, rather than the other way around.
I allowed my perception of the surrounding culture, social media influences and the people around me to define who I was and what I wanted, or what I believed I should want.
Ironically, it was only when I had children of my own (and was infinitely busier) that I was truly inspired and courageous enough to take a hard look at my life and do whatever it took to create a better one. As a parent, I knew I needed to model the kind of life I wanted for my two beautiful boys.
The love I felt for my two sons Garrett & Emmett ignited a renewed love for myself. It inspired an almost urgent motivation to create a better future for them.
Slowly, over time, I began to practice moving toward the things I was most drawn to & passionate about, that energized and lit me up.
Simultaneously I moved away from what wasn’t working, what de-energized or left me feeling uninspired or just plain frustrated.
Slowly, as I invested in myself and focused within, I was equipped with a renewed, richer understanding of my personality, strengths, values and purpose. I was empowered with a whole new lens that allowed me to make both big and small improvements in my life.
Before I knew it, I began feeling more and more aligned and alive.
I felt like I had boarded a train I did not want to get off…EVER.
And this was just the beginning.
After 2 years of shifting into new practices & habits, I began to realize some interesting truths:
- If it’s important enough, there is ALWAYS a way. Yes always.
- My environment doesn’t control me. I create and influence my environment.
- We are innately wired to connect with others in ways that are personally meaningful.
- Coaching is designed to maximize personal growth, and we ALL could use it in our lives.
Coaching and meaningful connection with both myself and others is the foundation for my completely renewed sense of inner clarity, which has unquestionably transformed my life.
It has led me, more like compelled me, to shift into Identity & Purpose Coaching in order to guide others toward an aligned life they truly love.
Exactly what I was missing before and now know how to attain.
SO…
Whether you are:
- A parent trying to do & be EVERYTHING, yet feel a sinking dread each time a day goes by and you haven’t actually moved closer to your dreams
- A professional who doesn’t feel a sense of excitement, passion or purpose in their job
- A husband or wife who feels trapped or defeated in their marriage and isn’t sure how it can be improved
- A student on the verge of graduating without a clear sense of direction, or unsure if they’re even in the right program
- Just feeling overpowered by your culture, environment, social media, or other external influences
I have been in your shoes.
And it would be my absolute honor to learn more about where you are in your journey RIGHT NOW.
Please, send me a message sharing where you are right at this moment. What are your biggest challenges & pains? What do you feel overwhelmed or overpowered by?
And, if inspired to take it further, what vision do you have for your future self?
I cannot wait to hear what you have to say.
My very best to you, always,
Regina
